We believe that a safe and comfortable playing field is essential for a great game. But in order to do that, we had to completely rethink how a field is constructed. To make a safer artificial grass field, we have engineered a new platform called ProGame. With ProGame, it softens the running impact on the artificial turf and protect the knees of atheletes while creating a more realistic feel; as if you are playing on real grass, but without the risk of damaging the grass after a game.
We have also developed a safe and comfortable tatami mat for various professional martial arts activities. With its layered structure, we were able to dampen the impact of atheletes falling during sparing sessions. With this two products, we hope to revolutionize the sports arena.
Grass fields are always detroyed after a game; the soil becomes muddy, marking lines smudged, not to mention the high maintenance cost to ensure the grass field is in tip top playable condition. Many professional sports fields have opted for artificial turf, but with a few problems; artificial turfs are often harder as compared to genuine ones, not only is this uncomfortable to play in, it will also hurt the knees of the athletes due to the hard impact against the ground. Drainage system also poses an issue for them, not having a proper drainage system will easily flood the field when it rains. This is where ProGame comes in.
The moment you step onto a ProGame supported artificial turf, you wouldn't feel a thing, and that's the beauty of it. ProGame emulates the feeling of real grass fields, as if nothing has changed. Be it football, hockey, baseball or rugby, with ProGame artificial turf shock pad system, you maximize the safety, comfort and performance of the field and athletes.
ProGame's layer system is lightweight and very easy to install. It meets shock absorption, energy restitution and vertical deformation criteria set by official international sports federations like FIFA, FIH and IFAF.
ProGame provides a uniform shock absorption and vertical deformation dispersed throughout the whole field and the performace will last beyond the lifetime of the artificial turf. It is immune to freezing and has a dimensional stability from -40°C to 90°C, maintaining its characteristics in both cold and hot environments. Trocellen's ProGame comes in 2 different patented structures; the XC-cut and C-cut.
The XC cut ingrained in the foam forms a rigid structure that allows the compensation of the expansion and shrinkage during the installation process; to prevent uneven surfaces (waves) from forming due to the changes in weather temperature. The XC cut also allows for an excellent vertical drainage system while the XC-cut Plus with intergrated drainage lines allows a lateral drainage, best suited for concrete surfaces.
The C-cut structure allows for an even softer impact. Our main idea is for this to be used on playgrounds, gardens or your backyard. Most, if not all children are little athletes, and we believe that their safety and protection deserves to be on par as their tireless energy, enthusiasm and stunts.
